THE RE/MAX AUCTION 1. The initial meeting is set up when you call RE/MAX Group Auctioneers or make a call directly to one of our auctioneers. 2. An on-site inspection of your property may be made by our personnel. 3. Our auctioneers will present you with a written proposal determining your auction date, location, time, advertising costs, commissions, auction related expenses and other relevant matters pertaining to the auction. 4. After the terms in the proposal have been agreed upon, a written contract is signed by the seller and RE/MAX Group Auctioneers. 5. The profits from your property will be maximized when backed by strong advertising. Pre-auction preparation and promotions begin when the contract is signed. 6. Site preparation will begin well in advance of your auction so that it will be presented in the best possible condition. 7. If you have equipment or inventory it will be inspected (to determine repairs, cleaning, painting, etc.) and arranged so that it is shown to its best advantage during inspection. 8. On auction day our auctioneers, bid assistants, cashiers and auction clerks will manage the auction and record all transactions. 9. An important part of the professionalism with which we close our auctions is the fast and accurate manner in which we make our settlements. 10. Immediately after your auction, our accounting staff begins closing the books and finalizing all paperwork.
